ANTI-RADIATION SLIDING DOOR (Manual / Automatic)

SPECIFICATIONS

Anti-Radiation sliding and hinge doors are basically hermetically sealed doors with 2mm thick lead inside. These doors are specially designed for rooms with radiation shielding requirements.

 

Anti-radiation sliding and hinge doors have 2mm thickness of lead lining inside that comply with AERB (Atomic Energy Regulatory Board) requirements for the X-Ray shielding doors. 3 sided aluminium wall frame also comes with 2 mm lead inlay. Anti-Radiation doors can also with stand up to 75 Pa over pressure. At this pressure any leakage losses will still not be measurable due to the hermetic property of the door.

60 mm thick door core consists of 4 mm thick high pressure on laminate both sides, 2 mm thick lead lining and 50 mm thick high pressure injected polyurethane. The door also provides noise insulation up to 28 db.

Apart from 3 tier EPDM sealing gasket for wall frames, a special 2 tier bottom gasket is fixed on the lower part of  the door blade to ensure perfect hermetic sealing.

As an option 10 mm thick lead glass having minimum lead capacity equivalent to 2.2 mmpb with clear view of  305x305mm, fitted in 2 mm thick mirror finished stainless steel frame on both sides of the door, can be provided to see inside the radiation room.

There are many optional accessories that are available with this door i.e. lock, bigger size lead glass vision window, D-Handle & flush grip for full passage opening, kick plate and S.S. guard columns etc.
